This triple-bill installment of Café du Nord's Locals Only Night is strong in its own right — as a free show, it’s a no-brainer. SF upstarts the Passionistas have a smart, sassy take on garage rock and were recently included in the San Francisco Bay Guardian's roll call for the "Class of 2007."  For the embittered lot, Forever force-feed a potent blend of X-inspired snarl and proto-punk thump. Finally, Black Fiction leader Tim Cohen offers a more intimate take on his regular band's sweeping, eclectic sound.
