Mighty is providing a little funk this Thanksgiving — and we're not talking about the contents of the giblet bag. Wearing matching uniforms that recall both Speed Racer and highway-patrol officer, headliners Torpedo Boyz (Berlin-based producer Kentastic's newest project) play sassy, punchy electro-funk numbers in which they dryly bemoan the presence of tweakers at bars and coolly brag about their drum-programming prowess. LCD Soundsystem comparisons have been floated, but Torpedo Boyz's Eurotrash spin on disco seems more in line with the likes of Spektrum or even Peaches. A swarm of DJs gets the evening going, spinning disco, nu-funk, and funky house.
