Glass-blowing is an art form, requiring precision handling to yield stunning compositions of texture, color, and light. Glass blowing can also produce more utilitarian wares, such as beer mugs, which is what the artists at Public Glass had in mind with this open-studio-come-kegger. Attendees can sip on frosty brews from handcrafted goblets, while studio artists demonstrate a variety of glass-blowing techniques. And if the furnaces don't generate enough heat, then the fire dancers will definitely pick up the slack.
