The Devil in Miss Jones, Gerard Damiano's 1973 followup to his blockbuster Deep Throat, might be the only porn film to be inspired by Jean Paul Sartre's No Exit. But aside from its dark, Twilight Zone-esque plot, Devil also stands out for Georgina Spevlin's lead performance as the titular good-girl-gone-bad. Despite her cameos in low-budget flicks such as I Spit on Your Corpse! and two of the Police Academy movies, Spevlin never had another Miss Jones. Now, alongside adult-film actress and graphic designer, Spevlin adds memoirist to her resume. Tonight, she reads from The Devil Made Me Do It, which recounts steamy episodes from her stint as queen of porn's golden age.
