In the "terror and taboo" tradition of Le Théâtre du Grand-Guignol, Thrillpeddlers presents an evening of horror-themed one-acts that pit humans against the elements. Rob Keefe's A Difficult Passage and A Slight Tingling address topics such as wilderness survival and electroshock therapy, and Jonathan Horton's adaptation of Guignol classic La Dernière Torture takes on the graphic tragedy of the Beijing Boxer Rebellion. In famed Hypnodrome form, the evening is finished off by a "lights-out spookshow" sure to raise goosebumps and elicit screams. Reserve a ghoulish Shock Box for two and enjoy the evening while breaking taboos behind your privacy curtain.
