Cocktails and culture are always a winning combination, and the SOMA Cultural Coalition has put together a jam-packed schedule of groundbreaking performance and liquid indulgence at three of the city's independent-theatre gems. The crawl is handled open-studio style, with refreshments at each stop, and festivities begin with excerpts from the political fairy tale Animal Kingdom at the Boxcar Theatre. Next stop is the Garage, where Denia Dance and award-winning choreographer Enrico Labayen perform new work. The afternoon culminates in a reception at the Climate Theater featuring improv, comedy, and more libations to go around.
