The eighth annual Tease-O-Rama burlesque convention arrives in town with a schedule so packed that it's sure to make your tassels spin. The Rickshaw Stop hosts Thursday night's opening bash, followed by two evenings of titillation at Bimbo's, a day of burlesque instruction at Fort Mason, and a screening of the stripper-and-secret agent flick The Silencers (1966) at the Cerrito Speakeasy Theater. Workshops include "The Art of Glove and Stocking Removal" and "The Big Reveal," and live performances feature more than 200 modern-day pinups strutting their best stuff. Tease-O-Rama is the only forum of its size for neo-burlesque, and both spectators and professionals in the field are encouraged to attend.
