Gift shopping should be fun, not painful or guilt-ridden. Offering an alternative to the chaotic and impersonal department-store experience, the Bazaar Bizarre gathers together a hundred retailers with a DIY aesthetic and a penchant for using reclaimed materials in their crafts. From handmade jewelry and stationery to a chandelier created from paper cocktail umbrellas, the bazaar offers buyers the chance to shop without the guilt of supporting mass production and consumer waste — and this time 50% of the door profits will go to local nonprofit, the Out of Site Center For Arts Education.
