When he arrived stateside for his latest show, London artist Paul Insect pasted the streets of SF with his signature image: a baby's head emblazoned with a creepy third eye. Known for his visceral pop style, Insect mixes bright colors with morbid themes, like Donald Duck and Pinocchio brandishing guns and bombs while human skulls sport multi-hued Playboy bunny ears. His work has caused quite a splash in the art world, and Damien Hirst is such a fan that last summer he snapped up an entire show of Insect's work.
