On the strength of MIA's Kala and Santogold's "Creator," British DJ/producer/label honcho Switch went from underground beatsmith to XLR8R Artist of the Year faster than critics could say "Mathangi 'Maya' Arulpragasam." Switch started the Dubsided label, collaborated with Diplo, and has remixed Basement Jaxx and Simian Mobile Disco.
