Neil deGrasse Tyson gave his first astronomy lecture at the age of 15 while still a student at the Bronx High School of Science, and he hasn't let up since. Whether hosting PBS specials or serving as director of the American Museum of Natural History's planetarium, Tyson always turns astrophysics' most mind-bending elements into accessible nuggets for a general audience. Tyson's an esteemed academic and pronounced skeptic of string theory, but above all, he's a public advocate of science knowledge and appreciation. He discusses his life's work at this City Arts & Lectures presentation.
