Far from the domain of one-man laptop bands and sequencer junkies, Holy Fuck draw immediate comparisons to noisy, rhythmic acts like Battles and Dan Deacon. HF's music-making philosophy is fiercely devoted to traditional keyboards, basses, and drums, along with found instruments. In direct opposition to the meticulous programming and sampling used by their peers, however, Holy Fuck create their sounds anew tonight in a live, improvised performance. Brooklyn psych rockers A Place to Bury Strangers and local shoegazers Veil Veil Vanish are also on board, adding extra fuzz to the evening.
