This afternoon's discussion is about the intersection between artistic realms — from Vivienne Westwood's punk looks to the ubiquitous rock-band t-shirt. SF multimedia artist Julio Cesar Morales, whose work in public and private spaces frequently explores themes of social identity, joins Modern Appealing Clothing owners Ben and Chris Ospital to talk about how each industry influences the others, among other topics. For some pre-lecture inspiration, check out Derek Jarman's cult flick Jubilee (1977), an urban fantasy with a punk soundtrack and over-the-top costumes.
