This comedy fundraiser for the Haight Ashbury Free Clinics proves that old chestnut about laughter being the best medicine. The annual Stand Up for Dan Crawford event was founded as a tribute to Dan Crawford, a San Francisco comedian whose lack of health insurance led to his tragic death from the flu at age 28. Legendary political satirist Will Durst, Rob Cantrell from Last Comic Standing, and Joe Bartnick perform, along with other Bay Area joke tellers.
