Whimsy, a group show by members of the Bay Area Photographers Collective, manages to be lighthearted without coming off as frivolous. The photos share a playful levity and a certain level of innocent simplicity. Among some of the featured photos are Erin Malone's lush and airy pinhole landscapes, and prints by Kirk Thompson, whose color photos are composed of bold patterns he finds on his walks through the city.
