Charles Anderson's Company C has been a constant fixture and innovative force in the Bay Area since its inception in 2002, collaborating with NYC Ballet alum Alexandre Proia and spearheading the Oakland Dance Festival. Company C's repertoire includes many of Twyla Tharp's pieces based on vernacular American dance styles; tonight marks the company's premiere of Tharp's rigorous duet Armenia.
