Tonight, open your ears to every Lite-Brite shade of techno in the spectrum with a DJ set by Simian Mobile Disco. Besides being ace producers (SMD's James Ford helmed releases for Klaxons and Arctic Monkeys) and remixers, the boys have spent the last few years becoming a better pop band than most — last year's debut album, Attack Decay Sustain Release, effortlessly fused the acidic booty spank of their dance-floor singles with some genuinely melodic songwriting. Tonight they'll give the analog synths a rest and spin a round of hand-picked electro tracks.
