Music: Electronic VHS or Beta w/ Tigercity

Few are the bands that can appease both the indie elitists crowded around small stages and the electronic-music junkies bouncing around in the club. Louisville, Kentucky's VHS or Beta are part disco, part indie rock, landing somewhere between Daft Punk and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Although their most recent album, Bring on the Comets, is heavy on hooks and pop clichés, it still caught the attention of DJ duo LA Riots long enough to garner a pretty excellent remix.
