April babies, rejoice — you're in good company. To honor the birthday of West Indian Girl's lead singer (and potential namesake) Mariqueen, the quirky six-piece have rounded up an appropriately eclectic lineup of DJs and bands. In addition to WIG's own psychedelic prog-pop, tonight also features Minipop's fuzzed-out melodies, Tricia Kanne's gorgeously girly voice, and Forrest Day's electronically enhanced hip-hop and singer-songwriter meditations. Patently ridiculous party-boy DJ Vin Sol and other turntablists will keep the dance floor moving long after the bands leave the stage.
