As a singer, guitarist, and harmonica player in the Swedish indie-pop group Peter, Bjorn & John, Peter Morén helped propel the trio to club fame with the ubiquitous, whistle-led dance anthem "Young Folks." As a solo artist, Morén takes a decidedly lower-key approach, focusing on delicate guitar melodies, the occasional drum-machine beat, and his own plaintive, soaring voice to craft the songs on his solo debut, The Last Tycoon.
