After more than 30 years of neglect and inactivity, the historic Armory building (now home to porn company Kink.com) is hosting a lively public event within its cobbled walls. Mission Bazaar is a weekend-long shopping and performing-arts spectacle, inviting over 100 artists and crafters to sell original art, textile designs, jewelry, and more. To keep the shoppers entertained, performers include the all-female Leonard Cohen tribute choir Conspiracy of Venus, gypsy-jazz sextet Gaucho, the Vowel Movement Beatboxers, and a host of circus performers, belly dancers, and the like.
