Music: Rock/Pop The Brothers Unconnected feat. Alan and Richard Bishop w/ Neung Phak

After 27 years of melting minds with their bold mix of hardcore, psychedelia, and ethnomusicology, Sun City Girls came to a sad conclusion this past year when they lost drummer Charles Gocher to cancer. The band's discography is sprawling enough to sustain decades of listening, but this will likely be the last opportunity to hear original members Alan and Richard Bishop play vintage material live. The two promise a memorial and celebration, with a screening of Gocher's kinetic video experiments followed by two acoustic sets of songs drawn from the band's back catalog.
