Music: Rock/Pop Club NME SF presents Foals

After landing on the face of that hoary UK hype-beast, NME, and wowing a few crowds here 'round SXSW-time, London-based Foals are back stateside. The youthful, self-proclaimed "snotty art-school dropouts" create a riotous hybrid of math rock and dance punk; think Battles, but with a chorus. A debut album, Antidotes — recorded and produced by TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek in Brooklyn last summer — was recently released on Sub Pop. Now's your chance to catch them before they go all Vampire Weekend on your ass.
