You may have noticed that Internet cultural resources are a vital part of keeping up-to-date, staying in touch, and figuring out what to do this weekend. Here in San Francisco, when we want to engage "art, culture, and technology" with verve and style, after Flavorpill we turn to Laughing Squid. Originally started as a film production company by Scott Beale in 1995, Laughing Squid has morphed into a bit of an institution, its Squid List responsible for populating everything from art shows to living Jell-O-mold contests. The Squid turns 13 this year, and Scott Beale turns 40 — join the dual celebration at CELLSpace.
