Recognized worldwide as a cultural symbol, the American flag is an object that elicits many personal and political emotions and interpretations. Highlighting these many points of view, graphic designer Kit Hinrichs presents a selection from his massive collection of over 3,000 representations of US iconography, including everything from photographs and folk art to lapel pins.
