The Subhumans perfectly embodied the raw, inclusive vitality of early 1980s UK anarcho-punk. When the group broke up, most of the members moved on to form Citizen Fish. Maintaining all of their former incarnation's vigor, Citizen Fish have now been playing Carribbean-infused punk rock for the last 20 years. It's catchy, ragged, and powerful enough to turn kids into vegetarians; plus, the recent Subhumans reunion proved that the boys from Bath have plenty of bile left to spit at the world.
