Koret Auditorium says…

Although it lasts for just one Saturday afternoon, this little film festival packs a serious punch, with four documentaries serving up the perspectives of women from around the globe. Organized by the International Museum of Women, the event also gives audiences the opportunity for intimate post-screening discussions with some of the directors. Among the films are Kimberlee Acquaro's Emmy-winning God Sleeps in Rwanda and Marlo Poras' Run Granny Run, an inspiring portrait of Doris "Granny D" Haddock, who trekked across the US on foot to protest big money's influence on politics. Acquaro, Poras, and the unstoppable Granny D herself appear for the talks.
