Pansy Division singer/guitarist Jon Ginoli, bassist Chris Freeman, and a revolving cast of drummers have been keeping the queercore flame burning over the years, offending (and perhaps turning on) many a homophobic punk with their three-chord odes to the joys of gay sex. Now the subject of a documentary screening at Frameline32 (Pansy Division: Life in a Gay Rock Band), the boys who made a generation of male Green Day fans question their sexuality play a celebratory gig at classic leather watering hole the Eagle. Here's hoping for a group sing-along of "Ring of Joy."
