Bay Area Now 5 doesn't hit the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts until July, but ArtSpan has the jump on the freshest native talent in this exhibition of artists under 30. Jurists from Varnish Fine Art and Shooting Gallery choose the top 30 from a pool of CCA and ArtSpan-affiliated applicants — catch them now, before they make the cover of Juxtapoz and everyone claims to have seen them before they blew up.
Note: The gallery closes early sometimes, so be sure to call ahead (415.222.6131) if you plan on checking out the show in the evening.
