The Intersection celebrates its 43rd birthday with a week-long gallery show, followed by a party and an art auction. The multidisciplinary arts space consistently cultivates impressive talents, as evidenced by the pieces on the auction block. Among them are Deth P. Sun's creepy cartoonish paintings and drawings, Kathy Aoki's anime-inspired superhero tableaux, Binh Danh's unique printed and transferred photographic images, and Jenifer K. Wofford's cheeky illustrations. Intersection opens its gallery for public viewing a week before the auction, so you've got plenty of time to pick your favorites and ready your bidding-paddle strategy.
