The 30th edition of the San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival continues to spotlight Bay Area dancers carrying on the traditions of over 35 dance forms. From the graceful sparring of Brazilian capoeira, to the sweeping movements of Cambodian Apsara dancers recounting tales of celestial beings, the festival lineup spans the globe and includes several world-premiere performances. Check the calendar for special events, like an Argentine-tango evening, a bhangra workshop (live out your Bollywood dreams!), and film screenings about the transformative power of dance.
