More Flavor: Festival Berkeley World Music Festival

Though the "world music" tag still invokes American recording-industry hegemony, this one-day extravaganza promises to be loads of fun. Those with a dance jones should check out the People's Park main stage, where Cajun, Brazilian, and Sufi music are all featured, as well as a headlining set by the popular local Afropop group Sila and the Afrofunk Experience. Down on Telegraph Avenue, meanwhile, LA-based Dengue Fever play at Amoeba at 2pm, resurrecting the psychedelic-tinged pop of Cambodia in the '60s.
