On Kira Lynn Cain's debut album, The Ideal Hunter, echoing guitar notes, xylophone, piano, and drums wrap around pained, ethereal vocals. Cain's lyrics are mysterious and brooding, evoking a cinematic, dusky world of repentant loners and weary, heartbroken travelers.
