While the City might be constantly abuzz with activity, there's still plenty to do on the other side of the Bay Bridge, and the folks at East Bay Express are celebrating with some of their best picks. Bands performing on the main stage include roots quintet the Whoreshoes, punk-rock old-timers Flipper, and dedicated KISS tribute band Destroyer. Other treats include dance and circus performances, short-film screenings, and free admission to the Oakland Museum's current Cool Remixed exhibit, which explores the Bay Area's youthful urban art.
