It's tempting to curse San Francisco's notoriously frigid summers. But in the evenings, when you're huddled against a pungent BBQ blaze swaddled in a borrowed hoodie, it ain't all that bad. In homage to the city's teeth-chattering quirks, the Frozen Film Festival offers a chance to enjoy movies that are as chill as the temperature. This year's fest includes the Henry Rollins-narrated surfing saga Archy, a bawdy animation collection, the "geek rap" documentary Nerdcore for Life, and many more. For the full list of offerings, check out the festival lineup.
