Italian filter-house pranksters Bloody Beetroots don their Spiderman masks and hit Mezzanine tonight for a gloriously distorted dance party. The duo's fuzzed-up synth harmonies ring like a haunted version of Justice, with plenty of chainsaw bass to keep audiences running scared (or, maybe just dancing). Well-chosen openers Lilofee twist electro pop and art rock into a dark melodic pretzel, with a gothic sound befitting their namesake folk tale, in which a German girl is eternally trapped in the forest of dreams.
