No one could have foreseen Leslie Feist's slingshot rise to indie stardom. Wait. On second thought, it was always kind of obvious. After all, Feist's music is made with the same ineffable magic as timeworn classics — simple, catchy songwriting; personal lyrics with universal appeal; and the kind of warm, impossibly emotive voice that could turn a straight-faced reading of the ABCs into an occasion for sobbing. If you think you're sick of hearing "1234," tonight's concert might change your mind.
