Gravy Train!!!! parlay toy instruments and gutter-wise goofballing into solid entertainment. Their basement electronica contrasts favorably with Peaches' intimate semiotics lessons, while their lascivious obsessions bring to mind the B-52's. But the Oakland-based quartet more than paves its own way, rapping about relationships, food, and other pleasures. PG-13-rated wardrobe malfunctions, excessive rump-bumping, and the atmosphere of a tent revival energize the group's rowdy but considerate crowds. Early arrivals tonight also get to hear undercard highlight NOBUNNY perform a set heavy on pop-punk.
