The self-described "only successful Arab/Jew partnership since the dawn of human culture" hits the Fillmore with its unique brand of soul-driven, '80s-steeped electro-funk this evening. The Montreal-based duo, comprising synth whiz P-Thugg and guitarist/vocalist Dave 1 — known collectively as Chromeo — has been busy trotting the globe following the release of its slow-burning debut album, She's in Control, and subsequently, last year's Fancy Footwork. With saucy lyrics, irresistible beats, and an irreverent tongue-in-cheek style, it comes as no surprise that the two have garnered a cult audience of fans dedicated to their geek-chic approach.
