In the vein of "holiday confidential" films like Bad Santa (2003) and Elf (2003), Matthiew Klinck's offbeat buddy comedy Hank and Mike offers a sweet, acerbic take on Easter. Hank (Thomas Michael) and the more goody-goody Mike (Paolo Mancini) are chocolate-toting, beer-swilling bunnies who have been given the pink slip by their soulless multinational employer, forced to sail the seas of unemployment in a world that's hardly sugar-coated. Run-ins with strippers, self-help groups, and a side-splitting turn at a pre-school are just some of the rascally, irascible rabbits' misadventures.
