The good folks at Another Planet Entertainment seem to have found the perfect formula for a music festival: a full weekend of beautiful vistas mixed with an all-you-can-consume approach to top bands from the Bay Area and beyond. Fresh off its similarly over-the-top Treasure Island bash, the team is back with nearly 70 acts, including heavyweights such as Radiohead, Wilco, Beck, and Tom Petty. While the top of the ticket skews toward established rock acts, miss Outside Lands' early hours, and you risk being the last one in town to hear Oakland native Goapele's refreshingly conscientious R&B and K'naan's new brand of Somalian hip-hop.
