It's time to raise a glass of Sparks and sparkling rosé (with a mascara-soaked hankie in the other hand) to Trannyshack — which has become all but synonymous with Tuesday nights in San Francisco — and its 12 glorious years of filth and fierceness. Glamorous alum such as Kiki & Herb's Justin Bond and Scissor Sisters diva Ana Matronic, as well as sisters-in-crime Lady Miss Kier of Deee-Lite fame and fellow Wigstock star Lady Bunny, are all flying in for the occasion — but it's the hard-working and hard-living local legends (too innumerable to list) who are the night's real stars.
