Be it the early-'00s dance punk of the Rapture or the current disco-inflected house of Hercules and Love Affair, DFA Records has proven to be one of dance music's undisputed trendsetters. Tonight, label founder and LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy joins bandmate Pat Mahoney behind the decks as Special Disco Version. If the duo's Fabriclive mix can be taken as a preview, expect a set of hot, buttered disco (along with some contemporary reinterpretations of the genre) that's sure to bridge the musical gap between 1978 and 2008.
