This festival of Hellenic flavor, hosted by the parish of Annunciation Cathedral, is a treat for both foodies and cultural savants. All weekend, the festival serves up homemade treats including flaky phyllo-dough boureki, dolmades, souvlaki, and sticky-sweet loukamades (fried doughnut holes), as well as a selection of Greek regional wines. DJ G-Stav spins Greek dance music and a different band performs each day alongside traditional table dancers, vocalists, and youth ensembles. If you work in the Mission, Friday features a ten-percent-off business lunch from 11am-2pm.
