The Expo for Independent Arts is the only free grassroots culture fair in these parts, and its list of activities is nearly endless. Throughout the day, the Expo hosts free workshops on LPFM radio, silk-screening, bookbinding, and breakdancing, as well as booths featuring local artists' goods for sale, an outdoor runway show, and music presented by 924 Gilman Street Project, Alternative Tentacles, Mission Creek Music Festival, and Uni & Her Ukelele. Another highlight is Circus Bella, an uber-stylish one-ring troupe that performs at 1pm.
