School's back from the summer — better start getting your nerd on. Local duo Dangraham throw a celebration for the freaks and geeks with an evening of darkly digital electro beats and a cryptic stage act. Laced with chilly vocals and big, fuzzy bass blomps, Dangraham's music ranges from Presets-esque synth pop to sinister, complex melodies reminiscent of San Diego's own Ghost Orchids. DJ Danny White, who mans the monthly Indie Slash party, mixes everything from Kraftwerk to Cut Copy. So dig out the glasses and the high-waters; be there and be square.
