You could buy an expensive plane ticket to Washington, DC, plead with your local representative for a coveted inauguration ticket, and then drag your jetlagged self through the largest gathering of people ever assembled in the Western hemisphere, all to stare at a screen showing President Barack Obama (whom you believe is somewhere in the vicinity) being sworn in.
