Be it the early-'00s dance punk of the Rapture or the old school house revival of Hercules and Love Affair, DFA Records has proven to be one of dance music's undisputed trendsetters. Tonight, DFA roster members Pat Mahoney (of LCD Soundsystem) and Hercules mastermind Andy Butler go behind the decks as Special Disco Version. If Mahoney's previous Fabriclive mix with James Murphy can be taken as a preview, expect the musical gap between 1979 and 2009 to be bridged with lots of of hot, buttered disco (along with some contemporary reinterpretations of the genre) and plenty of rare house tracks.
