Something bad, something very bad, has happened in the nondescript hotel room Tim Roseborough has built in his installation Here Is The Room. Although the body has been removed, a series of Polaroids left by "the killer" leaves little to the imagination and imbues the space with an unshakable sense of dread. Recalling such haunted spaces as The Shining's room 237 or any number of film noir final resting places, Here Is The Room cannily embodies our country's history of violence while nodding to the contemporary art world's continued fascination with the unsavory.
