“As anyone with a fun bone in their body knows, dancing and liquor are a potent combo (just imagine how much better Dancing With the Stars would be if all the contestants were soused). The Lab gets this and is holding its own libation-fueled dance-off, in which contestants must coordinate everything — from their dance steps to their choice of partner to their music selection — with their concotion of choice. Synth pop band Adonisaurus get things warmed up, current artist in residence Tom Russotti emcees, and recent Goldie-winner and faux queen extraordinaire, Fauxnique, will decide whose routine reigns supreme. The Lab will have a selection of booze on hand for dancers to mix but you can always BYO.”

Synth pop band Adonisaurus joins Tom Russotti and guest judge Fauxnique (Monique Jenkinson) to kick off an evening of competitive debauchery and high concept drinking.
In order to score well, contestants coordinate their beverages with their dance, their partner, their music, and their liver. Stronger drinks get more points with the judges, as long as contestants stay on their feet!
The Lab will have beer, wine, vodka, gin, orange and cranberry juice, and Izze sodas on hand for dancers. Fancy drink design is encouraged, so entrants may bring their own ingredients.
